Meet the Artists

At blu door, our studio artists come together to share, create, and inspire. We’re a mix of painters, makers, and Intuitive teachers who believe art should be fun, expressive, and accessible to everyone….It’s all about connection, exploration, and the joy of creating together.

Intuitive Artist

Beth Nagle Griffin

Rooted in creativity & Spirit, I have been making art—and listening to the quiet guidance of the unseen—since childhood.

My heart-centered goal is to help people reconnect with themselves through visual expression, energy work, and the healing power of presence.

I currently reside, create and hold space between the inspiring White Mountains of New Hampshire and the stunning Bay Shore of Nova Scotia, alongside my beloved dog, Odin.

Let’s create and explore something sacred together.

Mixed Media

Lisa Marino

Hi, I’m Lisa Marino Surette, owner of blu door. I’ve spent over 30 years as a graphic designer, and along the way I fell in love with expressive art and the freedom that comes with creating from the heart.

My work blends everything I’ve learned about design—composition, color, and balance—using gouache, watercolor, mixed media, and abstract techniques. I love exploring how art can tell a story or capture a feeling without words.

My goal is to create a welcoming space where anyone—no matter their experience—can learn, experiment, and grow. Art is about showing up, trying new things, and letting creativity surprise you.

Fluid Artist / Maker

Cheryl Harris

I am an acrylic paint pouring artist who loves exploring color, texture, and movement through fluid art. Over the past several years, I’ve developed my own unique style, experimenting with different pouring techniques to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces.

My creative process doesn’t stop at the canvas—every drop of paint is an opportunity for something new. I transform dried paint “skins” into handmade jewelry, turning abstract color blends into wearable art. I also enjoy crafting candles, custom Christmas ornaments, and other unique handmade creations that reflect the same sense of creativity and joy found in my paintings.

For me, art is about flow, transformation, and the beauty of experimenting without limits. Each piece tells its own story through color and motion, inviting you to see something new every time you look. Click here to see Cheryl’s up-coming classes

The mission of It’s an Eibug … is not limited to teaching fly tying to beginners. It’s about educating both newcomers and seasoned fly fishers on all aspects of the sport. Including and not limited to understanding the laws of Fish and Game, ethical practices of the sport, points of interest to visit, providing venues to keep up with the latest trends. Finally, to help the sport of fly fishing carry on through generations to come.
